Chandigarh, February 25, 2026
The Department of Chemistry, Botany, Biotechnology, Zoology, Physics , Mathematics and Computer Science & Applications of DAV College, Sector 10, Chandigarh successfully organized a two-day Inter-College event titled “Science Fest 2026 – The Science Odyssey” on 24th and 25th February 2026 sponsered by Department of science and technology Chandigarh . The fest was conducted under the dynamic leadership of Principal Dr. Mona Narang . About 250 registration were made from different colleges of chandigarh.
The theme of the fest, “Science & Technology for Sustainable Future,” aimed to promote scientific temperament, innovation, and environmental awareness among students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various colleges across the region.
A variety of competitions were organized, including Science Quiz Competition, Model
Presentation, Poster Presentation, Oral Presentation, Debate Competition, Creative Writing Competition, Photography Competition, Rangoli Competition, Inter-College Website Development Challenge, and an E-Waste Awareness & Collection Drive conducted campus-wide.
Students showcased remarkable creativity, research skills, and innovative ideas aligned with sustainable development goals.
The event concluded successfully with prize distribution and a vote of thanks to all participants and faculty members who made the fest a grand success.
