Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali is set to collaborate with Punjabi sensation Diljit Dosanjh once again after “Amar Singh Chamkila” for a film about love and longing, which is slated for release on Baisakhi 2026.

Bringing Ali’s vision to life is a stellar cast featuring Diljit, Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina, and Sharvari. Set to begin filming in August 2025, the -yet-untitled film will hit theatres on Baisakhi 2026.

Actress Dipika Kakar has been discharged from the hospital after 11 days. She said she is free from the tumour but remaining treatment will follow in the coming time.

Dipika took to Instagram, where she posted some pictures from the hospital. She posed alongside the doctors and the staff for the care she received during her 11-day hospital stay.

She wrote alongside the pictures: “11 Days of being here and now home… Free from the tumour… but this is one part of the treatment done… remaining will follow in the coming time… and mujhe yakeen hai I will sail through that too as I said before (sic).”

She said that the 11 days were difficult.

“But because of the amazing ppl we had around… things went smooth… there was suffering but it was all handled with a lot of warmth by everyone at the #kokilabenhospital .”

Actor Rohit Roy recalled a life-changing moment before auditioning for Mahesh Bahatt's acclaimed show "Swabhimaan".

During a heart-to-heart with Yash Birla for a session titled "The Soul Science", Rohit shared that he lost his father when he was just 14 or 15 years old, right after which he visited Bombay for his first audition—which was for "Swabhimaan".

First look of Sidharth, Janhvi's 'biggest love story’ ‘Param Sundari’ unveiled

The makers of the upcoming film “Param Sundari” on Thursday unveiled the first look of the film, touted as the “biggest love story” featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor.

Production banner Maddock Films took to Instagram, where they unveiled the first look, which introduces the dapper dude Sidharth Malhotra as “North’s fire” Param and the stunning Janhvi Kapoor as “South’s grace” Sundari. The first look is charged with romance, drama, emotions and beautiful visuals.

The video was captioned: “Where North’s fire meets South’s grace, it calls for the biggest love story of the year! Dinesh Vijan presents Param Sundari, a love story directed by Tushar Jalota, coming to cinemas on 25th July 2025.”

Papon performs unreleased song from ‘Metro In Dino’, talks about his collaboration with Pritam

Playback singer Papon, who is known for ‘Bulleya’, ‘Jiyein Kyun’, ‘Moh Moh Ke Dhaage’, recently performed an unreleased song at the launch of the track ‘Zamaana Lage’ from the upcoming film ‘Metro In Dino’ in Mumbai.

The unreleased track hasn’t been titled as yet given music composer Pritam’s spontaneous process of making music. The unreleased track boasts heartfelt lyrics and a soulful melody. Papon even appears in the music video of ‘Zamaana Lage’ strumming guitar and singing along with Pritam.

Speaking about his collaboration with Pritam on this project, Papon shared that he lost count of how many songs he sang and recorded for the film. This is not Pritam’s first time making such a bouquet of music, as he has done it earlier with the Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif-starrer ‘Jagga Jasoos’.

Zahan Kapoor-starrer Black Warrant, The Royals featuring Ishaan Khatter and Bhumi Pednekar, the coming-of-age romance Mismatched, and the court comedy drama Maamla Legal Hai are all set to return with new seasons on the streaming giant Netflix.

Mismatched is set to come with its fourth and final season. It stars Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf.

Speaking on the season renewal, producer Ronnie Screwvala at RSVP Movies said, “We’re thrilled to bring Mismatched back for one last season. This show has become a true fan favorite, and the love for Dimple and Rishi has grown with every season.”

Screwvala added that it’s been amazing to see how their story has sparked conversations, inspired fan theories, and built such a passionate community.

Asha Negi told, “Yes, I was a bit skeptical at first because of the limited screen time. I wondered if the character would fade away—what then? But once I read the screenplay and received the character briefing, I realized that although the screen time was less, the role itself had a lot to offer. It was a performance-oriented character. I understood that it's not always about screen time—if the character is strong, that’s enough for me. So, I went ahead with it.”
