One of India's most respected directors SS Rajamouli has now confirmed that actor Nani will indeed be a part of his dream project, the 'Mahabharatham'.

Director SS Rajamouli has often expressed a desire to make a 10-part franchise on one of the greatest epics of all time.

Recently, Rajamouli, who participated in a pre-release event of 'Hit: The Third Case' in Hyderabad, was asked by the anchor if there was any truth in rumours doing the rounds that the ace director had fixed the character actor Nani was to play in the franchise.

In reply, SS Rajamouli very reluctantly disclosed that the character hadn't been fixed but what had been fixed was that Nani would definitely be a part of the franchise.

It may be recalled that Rajamouli is currently working on a film with actor Mahesh Babu, tentatively being referred to as SSMB29.

Salman Khan postpones his UK tour in the light of tragic Pahalgam attack

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan on Monday morning announced that he has postponed his Bollywood Big One Tour, which was scheduled for May 4-5 in the UK, in light of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir.

Salman shared the poster of the tour featuring personalities such as Sara Ali Khan, Tiger Shroff, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Kriti Sanon, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Maniesh Paul along with the “Dabangg star”.

The poster had “postponed” written over “The Bollywood Big one” UK tour.

Case registered against Punjab man for falsely claiming threat to Tiger Shroff’s life

A case has been registered at the Khar police station in Mumbai against a man for spreading false news that Rs 2 lakh was paid as a contract money to kill Bollywood action star Tiger Shroff.

The accused has been identified as Manish Kumar Sujinder Singh, 35, and hails from Punjab. On Monday, Manish called the police control room in Mumbai and told them that some people from the security company Trig were out to kill Tiger Shroff.

Not only this, the accused Manish Kumar told the control room that he had also given a weapon and two lakh rupees supari to them for the murder of actor Shroff. Security was beefed up after the threat call.

Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko, who escaped during a police raid in connection with an alleged drug use complaint against him, was caught in another controversy when his colleague Vincy Aloshious accused him of misbehaviour.

Aloshious, who had previously spoken about being mistreated by a co-actor on a film set, identified the individual as Chacko.

She initially, without naming the Chacko, said an actor misbehaved with her and was seen spitting some white powder.
