Chandigarh, 11 March 2026:
The NSS Unit of DAV College, Sector 10, Chandigarh, in collaboration with the Lions Club Chandigarh Central, successfully organised the 56th Blood Donation Camp at DAV College, Sector 10, Chandigarh. The initiative was undertaken with the noble objective of fostering humanitarian values and encouraging the youth to actively participate in life-saving social service.
The programme was graced by several eminent dignitaries. The Chief Guest, Tarun Bhandari, Political Secretary to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini, lauded the initiative and commended the youth for demonstrating a remarkable sense of social responsibility through their participation.
The Guest of Honour, Sanjay Tandon, President of the Alumni Association, DAV College, was joined by Sh.Saurabh Joshi, Mayor of Chandigarh, and Sanjeev Rana, General Secretary of BJP Chandigarh. They appreciated the organisers for promoting voluntary blood donation and inspiring young citizens to contribute meaningfully to the welfare of society.
