The Commerce Society of DAV College, Chandigarh successfully organized a fest COMMERCIA 2026 with great enthusiasm and participation.
The fest was formally inaugurated by the esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Supreet Singh, Founder and CEO of Psychocare Health pvt. Ltd. The Guest of Honour, Mayor Chandigarh, Sh. Saurabh Joshi, Alumni of the college, addressed the students in the gracious presence of Principal, Dr. Mona Narang, and H.O.D. Commerce, Dr. Sarika Mehandru, teacher incharges, Dr. Shruti Marriya and Dr. Sumit Goklaney and Commerce Faculty.
The highlight of the event was 'DAV Got Latent', where students showcased their talents in singing, dancing, and other creative performances. More than 40 stalls of food, games and fun activities added vibrancy to the celebrations. The fest witnessed sheer euphoria with the arrival of popular punjabi singer and film actor, Gurnam Bhullar and Isha Malviya of the soon to be released Punjabi Movie, "Ishqa'n De Lekhe". The star cast of another movie, "Viaah Kartare da" also graced the event.
COMMERCIA 2026 turned out to be a grand success providing a dynamic platform for students to exhibit their entrepreneurial skills, leadership qualities, and teamwork. The event concluded on a high-note reflecting the enthusiasm and creativity of the students and faculty members.
