Virtual classrooms are the future of education

While briefing about online classroom process to the teachers of Jat College, Director of Digital Learning Center of MDU Dr. Naseeb Singh Gill said, "During the Corona pandemic, we faced many challenges, overcome them and also transformed them into opportunities. The field of education was also not untouched by this.
                                                       We understood the importance of virtual classrooms, which replaced the traditional form of learning. The importance of technology increased due to online teaching and many digital platforms proved useful to us."
He said that to use technology in education in order to maintain physical distance amid Corona crisis is one thing, but the development of technology has always been used in education and it is necessary also. 
He said that under the aegis of Ministry of Education, very useful study material is being made available for the students and teachers all over the country. 
Learning course material has been prepared on platforms like NDL, E-PG Pathshala, IGNOU Gyankosh, Swayam, Swayamprabha and CEC. He called upon all the teachers to use these platforms, where excellent study material is available. 
College Principal Dr. Sangeeta Dalal said that the online education system gives students control over learning. It provides increased interaction with the instructor and other students. Online education is convenient and flexible. She said that the use of computers in the field of education can be very beneficial. Everyone should be aware of computers. We will be able to take advantage of facilities like projector, internet, email etc. only when we will have practical knowledge of them. She emphasized on using computers, laptops etc. in life.
