Chandigarh, April 28th, 2023 || “Smart Cities CEOs Conference on Data and Technology” organized by Chandigarh Smart City Limited (CSCL) in coordination with Smart Cities Mission, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of Indiaconducted today with the huge appreciation from the delegates from 100 Smart Cities.
Sh. Kunal Kumar IAS, Joint Secretary & Mission Director – Smart Cities Mission, Govt. of India presented the IUDX Awards to the City Delegates. India Urban Data Exchange(IUDX), is the data-sharing platform of MoHUA built and deployed by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). It is deployed in 33 Smart Cities and the industry/startup ecosystem is taking public and privately owned datasets through IUDX and building and deploying impactful applications across these cities. The certificate of appreciation for leading the data democratization efforts was presented to these 33 Smart cities during this conference including Chandigarh.
On Day 2 of the conference,participants got the opportunity to present and share the learnings on various topics like Security of ICCCs, ICCCMaturity Assessment Framework (IMAF), Operations Manual, Business Plans, SmartProcure, Urban Outcomes Frameworketc.
Choice was given to all the delegates to choose the site visit of their choice from the two planned routes out of which one was forState of Art Integrated Command & Control Centre, State of Art Police Command& Control Centreand UNESCO site Capitol Complex (Open Hand) Chandigarh and the other route was for State of Art Horticulture Waste Processing Plant, Pink MRF – run completely by Women, C&D Waste Plan, STP and Open Hand Chandigarh.
