CHANDIGARH, 10 March 2026:
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Chief Spokesperson and MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal criticised the conduct of the Congress party in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, saying that Leader of Opposition (LoP) Partap Singh Bajwa misused the speaking time allotted to the Congress and did not allow other Congress MLAs to participate in the debate.
Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said that the Assembly runs according to established rules and procedures and cannot be treated like a personal stage by any individual. He pointed out that the Speaker had allotted 16 minutes to the Congress party during the discussion, but Partap Singh Bajwa alone spoke beyond the allocated time and did not allow other Congress MLAs to present their views. “These MLAs are not even allowed to speak inside the House by Bajwa, and then they come outside and create unnecessary noise,” said Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal.
