Chandigarh, June 17 || The Punjab Government has constituted a core committee headed by the Director, State Council of Education Research and Training Punjab (SCERT) to expedite the qualitative reforms in the education sector.
Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the school education department said that on the instructions of the secretary of the school education department Mr. Kirshan Kumar the core committee for the upper primary has been set up to expedite the qualitative changes in the education under the 'Parho Punjab, Praaho Punjab' project.
According to the spokesperson, the committee is to be headed by Director SCERT. Its members includes Mr. Shalinder Singh assistant director training, Mr. Davinder Boha state coordinator ' Parho Punjab, Praaho Punjab' Primary, Mr. Harpreet Singh assistant director cum state project coordinator english / social sciences, Mr. Sunil Behl assistant director cum resource person hindi / punjabi , Mrs. Nirmal Kaur ASPD Math and Quality, Mr. Sunil Bhardwaj state resource person science, Mrs. Vaneet Kad state resource person math, Mr. Sandeep Kumar state resource person english, Mr. Jasveer Singh DM science, Ludhiana, Mr. Sukhwinder Singh DM science, Hoshiarpur, Mr. Chandra Shekhar DM english / social sciences, Jalandhar, Mr. Jaswinder Singh DM math, Jalandhar, Mr. Rajan Libra resource person hidni, Amritsar, Mr. Manjit Puri resource person punjabi, Faridkot, Mr. Karan Sukhija computer faculty G.S.S.S.
